Stellar Sales Talent Across the Continent Strengthens
Tufin's Ability to Capitalize on Increased European Demand for its
Award-Winning Security Lifecycle Management Solutions
September 6, 2011 - Tufin Technologies
today announced Jan Bau as Regional Director, Nordics, Georgeta
Toth as Regional Director, Central Europe and Will Stefan Roth as
Director of Sales Engineering for Europe, the Middle East and
Africa (EMEA). These strategic hires add more than 50 years of
combined sales and operations experience to the EMEA team,
strengthening Tufin's reach in Europe. Tufin's ongoing ability to
attract top performers aligns with its high customer satisfaction
ratings and steady stream of accolades from industry stalwarts such
as Deloitte, CRN, Network Computing and SC Magazine.
"Today's network security professionals have more complexity in
their environments, more compliance requirements to meet, more risk
vectors to manage, and less time and resources to deal with it
all," said Armin Schaal, Vice President of Sales for EMEA. "As a
result, European sales have doubled in some regions over the past
12 months, and strong growth in the Nordics and Central Europe has
required us to expand our team. Jan, Georgeta and Will are
unmatched in their ability to map Tufin's automation solutions to
the unique needs of each customer and prospect. We are impressed
with their dedication to customer satisfaction and delighted to add
them to the Tufin EMEA team."
"I spoke with several Tufin customers before joining the
company, and they all told me the same thing - that on average,
Tufin's solutions cut the time and cost of firewall management in half,
and for some tasks - such as conducting firewall audits and
troubleshooting firewall-related outages - they recorded up to
75-90% efficiency gains," said Jan Bau, Regional Director Nordics.
"I am delighted to be part of a company that can deliver those
kinds of improvements, and look forward to introducing those
benefits to Nordic-based businesses."
With more than 20 years of sales and executive management
experience, Jan has a proven track record of introducing innovative
products and services into the Nordic region. Prior to joining
Tufin, Jan was the Danish country manager of Check Point Software
Technologies Ltd. With a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 32%
in the region, he built up the customer base by 200%, more than
quadrupled the size of the Nordics sales team, and landed high
profile customer wins such as TDC, SDC, SKAT, Codan, Grundfos and
ISS. Prior to Check Point, he was Regional Sales Director for 3A
Networks, a spin out of Filanet Europe, a Managed Services Provider
(MSP), where he drove 125% year-over-year growth. Prior to 3A
Networks, Jan held senior sales positions at Cisco Systems,
Multi-Inform A/S, a Danish systems integrator, and Alba A/S, a
provider of environmentally safe recycling solutions.
"Tufin is the firewall
management market leader and there is a strong demand for
its solutions in the Nordics. With Jan at the helm, they are sure
to capitalize on the opportunity in the region," said Gorm
Mandsberg, Partner and Co-Founder of Dubex in Denmark. "As a long
term Tufin partner, we know its products inside out, and feel they
are some of the strongest we offer to our customers today. Almost
all of our customers are in urgent need of solutions that can help
them tighten security, better manage the overwhelming complexity of
their networks, meet internal and regulatory compliance mandates,
and minimize IT risk. We look forward to partnering with Jan and
Tufin to keep our customers secure, compliant, and positioned for
ongoing success and growth within their organizations."
With more than 15 years of experience in European IT Security
market, Georgeta Toth brings deep expertise in channel relations
and the business-to-business distribution structure to her role as
Tufin's Regional Director for Central Europe. Prior to joining
Tufin, Georgeta was Regional Director of Central and Eastern Europe
for Optenet SA, a manufacturer of multi-tenant security solutions,
where she launched the company in Central Europe and shortly
thereafter won several large government contracts. Prior to
Optenet, she spent eight years as head of Business Development for
Computerlinks AG, the largest European IT Security distributor,
where she was in charge of Computerlinks' strategic portfolio
development, and ran Check Point´s Partner Advisory Board, where
she collaborated with Check Point's executive management team on
sales and technology strategy in the region.
Will Stefan Roth is a seasoned sales engineer with deep domain
expertise in network, web, and endpoint security. He brings to
Tufin more than ten years of field experience, mainly at Check
Point Software. As the Team Lead for Check Point's DACH Endpoint
Security Solutions group and Team Manager in the Pre-Sales Check
Point MSSP Group for Germany, Will drove sales engineering efforts
for key accounts, trained customers and partners, and interfaced
with development teams to translate complex customer requirements
into successful deployments across multiple product lines. Prior to
Check Point, Will was a system administrator and web developer for
Ectacom GmbH, a leading IT Security distributor.
With the addition of three top-notch sales professionals to its
European sales organization, Tufin is solidly positioned to
maintain its strong growth. Additionally, it capped its fifth
consecutive cash-flow positive year. In March 2011, Tufin became
the first Security Lifecycle Management vendor to announce
meaningful support for Next Generation firewalls by delivering
automated policy management for user and application level
policies. This past June, it landed its second five out of five
stars review and "Best Buy" designation from SC Magazine. Most
recently, Tufin was announced as a finalist for multiple Computing
Security awards and was named an "Emerging Vendor" in the Security
Space by CRN.
