Additional Enhancements to Tufin's Award-winning Firewall
Management Solution Include Support for Cisco Nexus Routers and a
New User Interface for Tufin SecureChange

market-leading provider of Security
Policy Management solutions, today announced release R12-3 of
its award-winning Tufin Security Suite (TSS), version R12-3.
Tufin's enterprise and service provider customers can now use TSS
R12-3 to monitor and manage IPv6 firewall policies. Other key
enhancements to R12-3 include support for Cisco's high performance
Nexus routers and a new interface for
SecureChange, Tufin's Security Change Automation solution.

to IPv6 based attacks, and they must also be able to correctly
alert and report on the IPv6 traffic they handle. Gartner is
concerned about the possibility of false negatives by firewalls
during IPv6 migrations, whereby firewall internals pass the traffic
correctly but the 'black box' of alerting is not dealing with the
security implications."
Widely recognized to deliver substantial security and
performance improvements to IP networks, the migration to IPv6 has
been underway for some time. Tufin's IPv6 support will enable
Security Service Providers and leading-edge organizations to
centrally manage IPv6 firewall and router security policies, while
leveraging TSS' ability to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, and
ensure Continuous Compliance with internal and regulatory
standards. Tufin also supports the Internet Society's efforts to
promote IPv6 adoption and timed the release of TSS R12-3 with World IPv6
Day.
TSS R12-3, with support for IPv6, is currently available for
Check Point and Cisco devices and includes:
- IPv6 network connectivity for Tufin appliances
- Viewing security policies including IPv6 addresses
- Change monitoring, revision comparison and change reporting for
IPv6 policies
- Cleanup and optimization for IPv6 policies
- IPv6 object lookup
Additionally, Tufin SecureChange now features an all-new user
interface, which is simpler, more intuitive, and more powerful than
ever. Some features of the user interface include an intuitive new
startup page including ticket status, inbox, and more. The new
SecureChange user interface also features a new Policy Designer
with one-click change design and provisioning. After an access
request is submitted, the Policy Designer automatically displays
the recommended rule/ACL changes, which can be automatically
provisioned at the click of a button.
Finally, Tufin Security Suite now supports Cisco Nexus Routers,
to enable large data centers to benefit from end-to-end, central
Security Policy Management.
