Overview
Tufin Open Platform (TOP) enables technology partners to easily
integrate a wide range of network devices with Tufin's SecureTrack
and SecureChange solutions. Through TOP, SecureTrack and
SecureChange can be extended to support a variety of devices,
enabling customers to leverage Tufin's unmatched security
management capabilities to streamline operations.
The TOP Program provides development partners and customers with
a Software Development Kit (SDK) for TOP plugins. The plugins
implement the configuration retrieval logic for the network device
that is integrated with Tufin's solutions and can be written in any
programming language. The TOP SDK enables SecureTrack to monitor
and track configuration changes to generic devices.
Configurations retrieved via TOP can be viewed and compared in
SecureTrack's Compare view, and SecureTrack can generate New
Revision reports and Advanced Change reports for them.
Policy Change Notifications, connectivity status, and
connectivity Administrative Alerts are all supported for these TOP
device configurations.
TOP monitoring requires a customized plugin, specific to the
monitored device model. SecureTrack uses the TOP plugin to retrieve
configuration text files from the device. The plugin defines how
SecureTrack retrieves and handles the configuration. The TOP plugin
for each device type is a single .tgz file, which is installed by a
SecureTrack Administrator via the SecureTrack web interface.
