I spent much of today watching the sessions of Tufinnovate, our sixth annual user conference from the backend. This view gave me a unique chance to interact with customers, partners and prospects as they navigated an agenda packed with technical, business and thought leadership sessions. The agenda was developed with everyone in mind as the conference is provided (virtually) in EMEA, Americas and APAC.
In just a few hours, I heard Tufin executives and colleagues tackle subjects from the geo-political and macroeconomic trends to AI/ML and the cyborg future, to emerging thinking around SASE, “shifting left” through CI/CD integration, and addressing the challenges of a multi-cloud world.
I also heard a key customer talk about the evolution of automation over their years of partnering with Tufin. What was initially an approach to speeding up manual processes, has become a driver of significant insights and proactive identification and mitigation of network problems. At the core of these gains is the value delivered to the network team as they can increasingly focus on higher-value tasks and innovative thinking. This was mirrored in a conversation with another customer along similar themes – reducing risk while driving efficiency.
The commitment of our strong partner ecosystem was also on display as we heard from each of our track sponsor tech partners. Fortinet shared their vision of Cybersecurity Mesh Architecture while Palo Alto Networks took a look at compliance and Zscaler addressed the imperative to secure digital transformation. Our hundreds of channel partners and distributors were also very involved in Tufinnovate, hot off the heels of our global partner summits within the last couple weeks.
With 44 sessions across all three regions today, there was no shortage of things to talk about. But, I’d be remiss if I failed to mention a couple key announcements that were shared.
Earlier this morning we announced TOS 22-1, which ups our hybrid cloud game and offers better change automation and troubleshooting for Palo Alto Panorama as well as enhanced capabilities around change management for Check Point Inline Layers.
For many of our customers, visibility into and control over Microsoft Azure firewall was welcomed news. These are just some of the highlights of the latest TOS Aurora release which has been designed from the start to offer the balance of agility and security that is so critical to continued growth across organizations.
Yet, one of my favorite sessions was the broadcast from the Accenture Innovation Center Garching from which our new ecosystem partnership was announced. Maybe I was dazzled by our (literal) name in lights, or the vast feeling of the possible, but for those of you in Germany (or nearby) should check out the Tufinnovate road show that will take place there later this month. I believe it will be nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Today’s sessions offered something for everyone, and I believe tomorrow’s lineup will be much the same. We will hear from a true industry luminary in our keynote speaker with Niloo Razi-Howe as well as gain additional customer perspective from one of our many utilities customers. With a mix of general sessions, breakouts and demos, I hope you’ll take advantage of Day Two. And let us know what you learned, liked or want more of when it comes to the Tufin ecosystem.
